Follow these instructions to capture the specs of your system using Key Deploy.
1. Click on the "PC Specs" option from the main menu. Then click "Launch PC Specs" on the following window.
2. A form will appear with some fields already pre-populated.
Fill out the remaining fields and check / uncheck the various Defects that apply to your system, then Submit.
You should get a message saying "Successfully updated machine specs. Closing in 5 seconds."
Follow these instructions to capture the Windows image of your system using Key Deploy.
1. Click "Image Capture" from the main menu and then type out what you want to name the image.
2. After typing in the image name, click "Capture Image" on the bottom right of the screen.
This starts the Image Capture (Average image capture time is about 10 minutes).
3. Upon completion of the Image Capture, a pop up diaglog box should appear saying "Image Has Successfully Captured."
Click "OK" and the system will reboot.
Follow these instructions to completely wipe your Hard Drive using Key Deploy.
1. Click on the "HDD Wiping" option from the main menu.
2. Select the drive you wish to wipe, then click Destroy.
3. You will get prompted with a Confirm Destruction warning message. Click "Yes" (The wipe takes about 12 minutes).
4. Once the Wipe is finished a dialog box pops up with the Wipe Successful message. Hit "OK" and it takes you back to the main menu.
Follow these instructions to install a Windows Image onto a Hard Drive using Key Deploy.
1. Click "Install Image" from the main menu.
2. Select the image you want to install, check the DPK box, then click "Deploy".
When the imaging finishes Windows will reboot.
3. Once the system has rebooted, wait for the Key Deploy interface to display. If Device Manager launches, close out of it.
On the right side of the window you will see "Installing DPK". Let this process complete, waiting for it to say "Successfully Installed" with a checkmark to the right.
4. Now to the left, click "Upload Installed Drivers". Wait to see the checkmark in this pane.
5. Following successful upload of the drivers, click "Shutdown to OOBE" in the bottom-right pane.
